각 신용기관의 웹사이트에 등록하고 내 신용조회를 해보면 동의할 수 없는 결과가 나오는 신용거래가 있다. 그 부분을 Dispute 신청을 하고 정당한 이유를 적어서 내면 대부분은 받아준다.

그런데 신용기관에 Dispute 신청하게 되면 신청받은 기관에서는 해당하는 카드사나 거래사, (나의 경우 Nissan – infiniti)
에 연락하여 확인하는 과정을 거치는데 이 경우, Nissan – infiniti에 직접 연락하여 컴플레인을 하고 Dispute을 신청해 놓는 게 좋다.
그렇게 하면 양쪽에서 확인 요청이 들어오는 경우가 되어서 Nissan – infiniti 측에서 좀 더 빨리, 정확하게, 더 중요한 것은 되도록이면 컴플레인하는 고객의 요구를 들어주는 편이다.
따라서 신용기관에만 Dispute을 하고 그저 기다리는 것보다는
적극적으로 카드나사 해당 거래사에 전화하여 Dispute 하는 방법을 요청하는 것이 좋다.
Nissan – infiniti에 전화하여 내 사정을 설명하니 Dispute 할 수 있는 방법을 알려줬다.
이 방법이 그들의 Policy, 즉 내부정책이라는데 솔직히 지네가 잘못된 거래를 올려놓고 내 신용점수를 망쳤는데 내가 이런 수고를 들여야 하는지 상당히 불쾌하다.
그래도 답답한 건 나니까, 어쩔 수 없다.
Nissan – infiniti에서 알려준 Dispute 하는 방법은 이러하다.
Dispute Request 서류를 아래의 정보를 포함하여 우편으로 보내기 : (하… 21세기 미국에서 우편이라니 어이가 없다)
- Name and infiniti account number
- Specific Information to be disputed
- Explanation of Basis for Dispute
- Supporting document

우편으로 보낼때는 반드시 Certified mail 로 그들이 받았다는 증빙을 남길수 있게 보내야 된다.
Specific information to be disputed:
Name of the account: Name, Infiniti acct #29009xxxxx
Reported as serious delinquencies: To be removed
Delayed payment: There is no delayed payment
The amount was paid as agreed but was less than the full amount: This comments can confuse lenders and misleading information. It sounds like there are unpaid balance.
Explanation of Basis for Dispute:
The vehicle was returned in excellent condition.
The additional fee after I retuned was disputed due to lack of detailed explanation
After negotiation and being informed that the total amount might be adjusted, I waited for a response from Infiniti Nissan. It was not just I did not pay without any reason.
The agreed amount was paid on May 12, 2020, as per their final adjustment.
Despite this, the account was inaccurately reported, negatively impacting my credit score.
I wouldn’t have risked my credit score for a few hundred-dollar discount if it were not for the assurance of an adjustment.
